Home.
Friday. The day I was to go home. I woke up earlier then I needed to. I laid in bed, half of me wanting to stay and the other half wanting to go home. Finally, I got up and made sure I had everything ready for when it was time to leave. The night before, Aunt Wanda gave me a big bag to put my clothes in because my suitcase couldn’t fit everything in. All my clothes were packed and everything was ready. (Except for my Grandma’s thimble.) I left my room and found Aunt Wanda and Uncle Lee awake. I wasn’t too hungry, so I just had a can of Sierra Mist and two oatmeal cream pies.
After we had everything loaded into the car, we drove to the airport. My plane left at
I woke as we were about to land in
I woke two hours later. We still had one hour left to go, so I took out the book, “The Goose Girl”, and read it. By the time the plane landed, I really needed to use the bathroom. (I have a HUGE fear about using the bathroom on the plane.) I ran to the first bathroom I saw.
It took me awhile to find my next gate…I needed to take a train from Concourse C to B. My legs were numb from walking so long while holding the heavy computer case and lugging the suitcase with me. But, this was to be my last flight. Finally, after walking for fifteen minutes, run ins with very rude flight attendants, I found it. They were just about to board, but I had enough time to call my mom. I needed to place both bags onto the little train that would load them up onto the plane because I was sitting in the very front row and there was no room for me to place the bag in any of the areas. The person I was sitting next to commented on my Tennessee Volunteers sweater. (He was not a fan of them.) I, not really caring anything about football, just shrugged and smiled and said my cousin gave it to me. I wasn’t in the mood to talk about a subject I didn’t know anything about. That seemed to “shut him up” about it ‘cause he didn’t say anything else about it. Mentally wiping my brow in relief, I listened as the flight attendant commented on the woman in the row right across from ours accent. It sounded Russian to me, so I guessed that. The man sitting next to me thought either English or Canadian. When the woman got off the phone, the attendant asked her. She was from
“Welcome Home Molly!” I grinned as I walked up. My mom and dad Andrew weren’t there. I asked Andre where they were, and he said looking for me upstairs. Then there they were. I hugged my dad first, then my mom. My mom kept taking pictures of me. (only one of them was good.) We grabbed my bright green and orange bag and headed to the car. We stopped by Lee and Dad’s grocery store to pick up things for the dinner we were having on Sunday night, then we headed to Taco Time for my lunch. (I hadn’t eaten since
When we got home, I gave everyone their presents. Mom’s was first; it was August Rush . (In case you don’t remember from before.) Then the boys’. It was the lego Hoth battle station. They all said,
“Whoa!!” At the same time and ran up stairs to play it. Abby loved her shirt and headbands. Andrew, at first, didn’t know what the animal on his keychain was, then realized it was a fox. (A very cute fox.) He loved the bear, especially the chocolate that came with it. Then it was Dad’s turn. A simple gift that I knew he would love. A picture frame that said,
“ Enjoy the simple things.” It held a picture of my dad and his mom. He teared up at it (just as Aunt Wanda and I speculated) and thanked me.
Dinner was some pasta and chocolate cake, then, I went onto Howrse.com. It was so good to talk to my friends again! First I chatted with HORSEYU, then when she went off, I chatted with TWINHORSES. They were both glad to “see” me. Then I went off and watched Psych with my family, nibbling at my cake. When we were all done, I went to bed, exhausted.

Day Seven.
Today. Aunt Wanda and I were going to meet Uncle Ronny at the Olive Garden, then head over to where my grandma and grandpa (plus other family members) were buried. (Very morbid, one might think. Not I, however…:p) Aunt Wanda and I headed out after I had finished packing. We talked along the way. I was very excited to be able to see my Uncle again.
We arrived at The Olive Garden before he did. Aunt Wanda wanted to park so that she could just drive out, and not have to back up and turn around, so we went for a bit of a wild drive as Aunt Wanda attempted to back into the parking space. After about seven minutes, we were parked. There were only a few cars in the parking lot, most of which were the waiters/waitresses. Soon Uncle Ronny showed up. Aunt Wand and I got out of the car and Uncle Ronny came over and gave me a hug. Then Aunt Wanda took some pictures of us. (I don’t look very good on one…but the other one is nice. lol) Uncle Ronny handed me a present, and we all walked in.
The waitress showed us our table, and we ordered. Then, Aunt Wanda wanted to take more pictures, and the waitress was walking by when she asked if we wanted her to take a picture of all three of us. Aunt Wanda said yes, thank you, and walked over to the other side of the table where Uncle Ronny and I were sitting.
While we waited for our lunch to come, Uncle Ronny asked me if I was a bit afraid when I came. I thought he meant coming on the airplane, so I said, a little bit, but it was easy. Then, while we were all confused, he said that he meant coming to see the family. I mentally slapped my head and said that I wasn’t really nervous because I still remembered them pretty well, and I felt more excited. Then Aunt Wanda got me to open the present. It was a lovely smelling lotion. I was soooooo happy, as I had just finished my last bottle. (My hands dry out very quickly.) There was also a card that contained $25 and a “happy birthday” note from him and Aunt Lisa.
When we were done eating and the bill had been paid, we took separate cars ‘till we reached a small little store, where I slipped into the back seat, Aunt Wanda into “shotgun” and Uncle Ronny into the drivers seat. Then we made our way to the cemetery. Once there, we went to my grandma’s and Grandpa’s grave and took a few pictures. Then we looked for the grave stone of “George Washington Heaton”. (I think it was Heaton, but Aunt Wanda couldn’t remember if that was his last name) (Long story of why I would want to see his grave.)
When we were done, we had decided to go visit my Aunt Lisa. She was at the hospital that she worked at, so we drove over there, (not before stopping to get a drink). It was good to see her soon. We shared a cute story about me when I was younger. Then we had to go. We drove back, dropped Uncle Ronny back at his car, then Aunt Wanda and I drove home.
Later, we went to where Emma had her cheerleading practice. We waited while watching Chloe play basketball. When she was done. We took Emma to Wal*Mart and picked up more pictures. Then Emma and I fought over which CD to listen at the CD sample box. (You know, you can press a button with the CD’s cover on it, then a song plays for about half a minute or so…I don’t remember what it’s called.) We laughed at ourselves as we went back to the car. We stopped by McDonalds, where Emma got dinner. I got one of the snack wraps. (It was the ranch, and I hate to say, it wasn’t very good.) We drove to the little store where we would drop Emma off to her dad. Emma gave me a quick hug, and before she got into her truck, said,
“Okay, I’ll talk to you over facebook!” I smiled, laughed and waved. Then we drove home. And I don’t remember exactly what we did the rest of the day… probably watched Criminal Minds while finishing the scrapbook, then went to bed.

Day Six.
On Tuesday, Aunt Wanda told me that Christie had called saying Emma was in a horrible state because she was so sad that I was leaving and that she may not see me again, so Aunt Wanda said to bring her over that night.
Aunt Wanda and I planned to meet Uncle Lee and my Cousin Ashlee at Ashlee’s Restaurant in Elizabethton. Before we got there, though, we decided to try to look for Shannon Hale’s newest book, Forest Born. We went to Barnes And Noble, but they had just sold out. We then went to two other book stores, but they, too, were sold out. It was then I told Aunt Wanda that they needed to get a Borders. (My favorite book store) We went back to Barnes and Noble, where I got Bend it Like Beckham and the sound tracks to Attack of the Clones and The Phantom Menace. Then it was time to cross the street and go to the restaurant. We waited in the car for Uncle Lee to come, then we were brought to our booth. We ordered our drinks and salads while we waited for Ashlee. I got a sprite and a Caesar. Then Ashlee showed up. We went ahead and ordered our lunch then as well. When the waiter left, Ashlee handed me the present she got me. It was a lovely notebook and pens that I could write in, along with some lifesavers. I thanked her and began to wonder what stories I would write in it. When our lunch came, we ate, then Uncle Lee had to go back to work. Ashlee and Aunt Wanda had to fight over the bill, then we too, headed out. We were going to the Grey Fossil site.
We arrived and entered the building. The next scheduled tour was in fifteen minutes, so we wandered through the museum area. Then, after fifteen minutes had elapsed, we followed the tour guide where she told us about the site. Our shoes got very muddy in the process, so, when we were done, the tour guide let us into the kitchen where we could wash our shoes off. Then Aunt Wanda left her purse in the kitchen, so she had to run back and get it. We went back to the museum and walked through. At the end there was a place where you could try to reconstruct one a Taper, and I had three tiny bones left before I gave up. Then I hurried to the Gift Store. There, I got an adorable Red Panda and Hippo. Then, after paying for them, we went back to drop Ashlee off at her restaurant so she could go home. Aunt Wanda and I stopped by Wendy’s to get some ice cream. I got some chicken, which then gave me a stomach ache on the way back to
“I don’t need to say good bye! I’m seeing her tomorrow!” We all laughed.
